We require a 50% non-refundable deposit and a signed digital contract.
The remaining balance is split into two payments due 6 months + 3 months before your wedding date. The contract will layout this payment plan to make it easy for our clients to add to their calendars.

Yes, at Eastbank we offer a Bridal Suite as well as our full lounge space with the iconic Smulekoff Jewelry Safe.

Eastbank Venue + Lounge includes liability insurance + liquor license in the venue rental cost so you do not have to worry!
With Eastbank Venue + Lounge carrying the liability insurance + liquor license, all alcohol must be provided by the venue. Outside alcohol is prohibited.

We are dog friendly, with some specific stipulations.
Dogs are allowed (only with pre-approval by staff) at the ceremony and pictures. Animals, other than service animals, are NOT allowed under roof or near food.
Dogs must be on a leash and someone must be responsible for them other than the bride and groom.

Eastbank Venue + Lounge includes over 100+ decor items in the full wedding rental. Otherwise, you are welcome to bring in any outside decor (excluding confetti, glitter, or party poppers of that nature). Flames are allowed, but candles must be in vases, votives, or have a wax plate + sleeve.

We provide clients with a parking map to share with their guests.
There is ample street parking around the venue with open lots across the street in partnership with other downtown Cedar Rapids venues like Paramount Theater and CRST. There is also a lot at the end of the building for guest to park in.

Zest Catering Company is our in-house caterer offering a full-service menu and catering for corporate parties, weddings, and conferences. Choose from a breakfast, lunch, or a full list of entree options. They offer a full appetizer menu, desserts, and beverages serving parties as intimate as 20 and as grand as 1400.

When using the in-house catering, the price includes a buffet-style setup. All necessary service ware, buffet service + cleanup, real china with cutlery + linen napkins, and the additional serving staff for no additional fee are included in the cost.
Also with using our in-house catering, all communication is done through the same team with the opportunity to try over 70+ menu options at our exclusive client-only open houses. And no deposit is need! Just a signed contract.

When you book at Eastbank Venue + Lounge we provide you with a recommended vendor list.
These are vendors we have seen work well with our couples, our space, and our team! We do not require you to use these vendors but as a guide in the planning process. However, please note your caterer must be licensed in the state of Iowa. Handmade desserts are welcomed!

Many of our couples live out-of-state so don’t worry! We provide many helpful tools to make your planning process a breeze including: our recommended vendor list, online final details form + planning guide, and a team of wedding professionals there to answer your questions!
If you need additonal help, we also offer wedding coordination packages - these coordinaton packages are not included in your venue rental cost.
