Where can guests park?

There is ample street parking around the venue with open lots across the street in partnership with other downtown Cedar Rapids venues like Paramount Theater and CRST. There is also a lot at the end of the building for guest to park in.

What is the difference between a wedding venue and a wedding reception?

The difference comes down to the wedding reception and ceremony. Do you want to have the ceremony and reception at the same location? The more specific you want the ceremony to be will determine the kind of reception/venue you will want to have.

When selecting a venue for an event, what should be considered and why?

  • Determine your event style. Are you more of the rustic outdoors type or the comfort of indoor seating?

  • Capacity. Review your guest list and determine which venues can host your guests.

  • Budget. What is your budget for your entire event? When considering a venue, it is important to note what is included - linens, tableware, catering, set up and tear down, etc.

Zest Catering Company is our in-house caterer offering a full-service menu and catering for corporate parties, weddings, and conferences. Choose from a breakfast, lunch, or a full list of entree options. They offer a full appetizer menu, desserts, and beverages serving parties as intimate as 20 and as grand as 1400.

Do you have multiple-chair seating options?

With a seating capacity of up to 475 guests for dinner, 600 for theater-style seating, and over 500 for galas and cocktail parties, Eastbank offers the perfect venue for your next wedding or corporate event.

What do you use for dinnerware?

Our pricing includes a buffet-style setup. We provide all necessary service ware, buffet set up, buffet service, real china, cutlery, and linen napkins, and buffet clean up. This includes the serving staff for no additional fee.
